On February 26th, the Chapel Hill branch members, Nicholas Wang and Luna Chen, successfully completed maintenance tasks on the Dry Creek trail. Our branch adopted the Dry Creek trail from the Chapel Hill Town Recreation Department two years ago, and since then, we have been performing trail inspections and cleanups every couple of months. On the trail work day, our members walked through the trail to identify potential hazards and concerns, and we also picked up trash to maintain a clean and safe environment. Our members collected two large bags of trash during the event, and we are proud of our efforts to protect the environment and make our community a better place to live. We welcome and encourage others to join our efforts in preserving and maintaining our natural surroundings.
The volunteers who participated in this event are Nicholas Wang (1 hour) and Luna Chen (1.5 hours).
