On February 11th, 2023, Murrieta members went to STAT Horse Sanctuary to help out.
The morning was filled to the brim with an excited buzz; one of the horses had become a mother. Everyone chatted excitedly while cleaning the horses’ stalls, eager to see the newborn pony. They slip up into two groups to ensure the productivity of their work was high, and when finishing cleaning early, they all eagerly congregated to see the pony Oak. Given she was born a few days ago, she was still shaky on her hooves, but everyone was incredibly excited at the prospect of watching her and her mother grow. After a quick break, they congregated around the garden area, surveying the area so the next visit they’d be able to start working with it. We look forward to visiting Oak again!
