Syosset Aids and Performs at Various Events and Schools across Nassau County for Chinese Lunar New Year, 1/25- 1/30/23

Members of AYLUS Syosset participated in aiding and performing for the parents and children at the Chinese Lunar New Year celebration event at the Long Island Children’s Museum, Town of Oyster Bay, South Grove Elementary School, Berry Hill Elementary School, Jericho High School, Manhasset Middle School and at the New Energy Education Confucius Classroom Unveiling Ceremony. Members helped to set up the tables and decorations as well as to prepare and serve the food donated by various Chinese restaurants during the event at Long Island Children’s Museum (LICM). Members participated in this event along with members from LICAA, the Long Island Chinese American Association. Some members of AYLUS Syosset also participated in the Lunar New Year performance, a show held for families of all ethnicities to view. Across multiple schools and events, many talented AYLUS members participated in performances by showing their traditional Chinese martial art routines.
