On Friday, January 27, AYLUS volunteers helped prepare for the Ohio Chinese Festival at Dublin Scioto High School on the following day. Volunteers helped set up stands, put up decorations, and with backstage setup and rehearsals. We had been preparing for this event for weeks before, by making posters, decorations and handouts. Additionally, volunteers were involved in rehearsals and hosting for the stage events in preparation for the following day’s performances. Several of our volunteers ended up with blisters after blowing up so many balloons! Their work was highly appreciated by all the staff and organizing committee behind this event!
