On January 16, 2023, the AYLUS Twin Cities Branch members went to Asia Mall to volunteer at the Lunar New Year Celebration from 12 PM to 4 PM. 21 AYLUS members attended this event to help volunteer at the stations where volunteers could engage with Chinese culture or win prizes. At the stations, members were assigned a certain activity that they would lead by themselves or with another person. The experience helped AYLUS members gain valuable experience in social interaction. It also was very fulfilling knowing that we helped strengthen the Chinese community and make the event fun for visitors.
