AYLUS Pearland members gathered together on 12/16 to prepare holiday gifts for seniors and kids. The
gifts were for both the Landing at Watercrest, an Assisted Living center, Ronald McDonald House, a
residential place for children with cancer, SMILE Project, a special needs day program, and lastly for Kidz Harbor, a facility to help abandoned and abused children.
The volunteers made bows to decorate Christmas cactus plants and also wrapped Christmas decorations and toys, packing them into individual gift bags. Some gifts were delivered to the assisted living center and SMILE Project when AYLUS volunteers visited the seniors and special needs students. Others were delivered to the Old Pearland Farmers Market and Super Joey Houston team, who organized the Christmas gift drive, which were later distributed to Ronald McDonald House and Kidz Harbor.
