On November 13th, several RCA members who had registered as a craft vendor at a local homeschool craft fair event got together to sell their handmade crafts and donate part of the proceeds to a local animal shelter. Sophie Chung created during 3 weeks prior to the event various handmade hair accessories from Asian inspired hair clips to floral baby headbands as well as seasonal hair accessories. Evan Chang and Kyan Chang created different crafts made out of recycled cork material. This included various wreaths as well as Christmas ornaments and kitchen accessories. The event took place on the 13th and started with the set-up at 10am and lasted until 2pm.
Part of the proceeds that the students raised will be used to buy dog food and fleece blankets that several RCA members will be working on this month to donate to the local animal shelter during the month of December.
