AYLUS Pearland junior members continued their online English tutoring program throughout the fall 2022 with new students and tutors. Our English tutors are dedicated to teach English to students who are not native English speakers or students who are new to the country. They use online sources to facilitate in the English class. The students are from K-3rd grade. The learning sources include Raz-plus, Brainpop, Starr reading tests, and YouTube conversations. These resources help the tutors teach English with interesting topics so the students can learn better. The topics covered by these tutors include math, social studies, reading, writing, health, arts, technology, culture, and more.
The goal of the English tutoring program is to enjoy learning English and to understand the English culture. By speaking with our tutors, they can also enhance communication skills. Our tutors also improve their class prep skills and communication skills.
The fund raised from the project has been donated to the special needs programs.
