Students Against Hunger (SAH) is an initiative started by NC Central Food Bank. Since its inception, it has provided hundreds of thousands of meals to families with the support of local schools. Our Morrisville/Cary Branch joined the awesome initiative this year by running a food drive to nourish people, build solutions, and empower communities. We promoted the food drive from local schools and neighborhood. We really hope no child have to worry when he or she will eat again, and no parent have to skip a meal, water down drinks or risk not paying a bill so they can put food on the table for their children. We are proud to be part of the SAH.
Volunteers that participated in this event: Brian Zhang (3.5 hours, initiated the event and promoted food drive from various communities), William Feng (2.5 hours, promoted food drive and collected food), Kenna Zhang (1.5 hours, planning and created the flyer), Brianna Xin, Halley Zhong, Allen Liu, Alison Wu, Shawn Ye (0.5 hours each, carried and collected food)
