San Diego Branch Hosted the Solution for Hope Tutoring Class on October 16, 2022

Coop with Foodbank, the AYLUS San Diego Committee kicked off the 2022-2023 Solution for Hope on-line classes for raising fund to underprivileges families. The Tutoring Class Activity was kicked off on October 16, 2022.

 

Through this activity, AYLUS volunteers were able to teach 2 ESL students a wide array of topics and led them through many different discussions, each one tailored to suit the student’s individual needs. Each class is a one-on-one private lesson, with volunteers specifically matched with students.

Joyce Lin taught 1 on 1 english (Angela Li) for 1.5 hrs on Saturday, October 15, 2022.

Serena Liu taught 1 on 1 math (Kate Liang) for 1.5 hrs on Sunday, October 16, 2022.

Andrew Chen taught 1 on 1 biology (John Zou) for 1.5 hrs on Sunday, October 16, 2022.

Kyle Huo taught 1 on 1 english (Barry Zou) for 1.5 hrs on Sunday, October 16, 2022.

Eric Li(FP) taught 1 on 1 history (Jessica Jiang) for 1.5 hrs on Saturday, October 15, 2022.

Meijia He taught 1 on 1 Python coding (Max Zhang and Samantha Mechem) for 1.5 hrs on Sunday, October 16, 2022.
