On Sunday, August 14th, the AYLUS Columbus branch volunteered at the Dublin Giving Garden at Coffman Park from 7 to 8 pm. The volunteers watered the plants in the garden, careful to not overwater them. The weeds that were removed from inside and around the garden were properly placed inside the provided lawn bags and the compost bin. All the plants, including different types of vegetables and flowers, were growing very well and many were ready for harvest. Careful attention was provided as to not damage the produce. This was their last Garden event before school starts.
