Riverside County AYLUS Continues to Support Mental Health by Spreading Positive Messages through Rock Painting in July 2022

Due to the continuous challenging time and the spread of Covid-19 within the community, several RCA members got together to continue working on the mental health series. This series is meant to raise awareness of mental health issues across all ages. It is also meant to bring joy and smiles to people’s faces by writing cheerful messages and drawing positive and cute images. Since the start this event has gathered so much positive feedback within the community that the group has decided to extend the horizon and include other nearby parks as well. In the end well over 100 rocks were painted.

After the paint job was finished, the rocks were dried and then placed within several local parks in the community. RCA will continue to work on this on a regular basis to brighten people’s minds and moods.
