On July 21, 2022, the AYLUS Bellaire Branch members volunteered at Evergreen Park for the Picnic In The Park event from 5:15-7:15pm.
The Picnic In The Park event was held by the city of Bellaire to celebrate National Parks and Recreation Month. Volunteers helped greet the visitors and give out water bottles, ice pops, and chips. They also watched the lines for the water bounce house and face painting booth. At the end of the event, volunteers helped put the chairs and tables away, disassemble the tents, and load chairs and tents into the organizers’ vehicles.
