On June 28th, Aylus Pearland members volunteered to help the Smile program at the Light and Salt Association. To begin the class, William Sun taught an art class on how to draw fireworks using different brush techniques. The ending result was a stunning and magnificent piece of art made by the students. Later in the afternoon, Aylus members Alex Sun and Zide Liu taught students how to implement gardening techniques using plants. Students learned how to plant and water sprouts and retain moisture within the soil using small rocks. After the gardening class, minister Zhou took the entire class outside to the parking lot, where they played various games using basketballs. The students also played catch with tennis balls, with the help of the Aylus volunteers.
