The AYLUS of Bellaire volunteered at Divine Grace Medical Missionaries on Saturday, July 9th, 2022, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Divine Grace Medical Missionaries aims to alleviate the lives of disadvantaged families and help homeless children, women and youth develop and live healthier lives in Houston. DGMM emphasizes literacy, technology, and education in a holistic environment by providing and supplying social and academic programs for the less fortunate.
Volunteers with AYLUS helped in the process of re-opening the offices for new medical programs. Volunteers sort and store medical supplies and move supplies to appropriate storage. They also made boxes and filled them up with clothes, computers, medicine, eyeglasses, books, and hand sanitizer. These boxes are sent to the disenfranchised families and individuals of Houston.
