The AYLUS San Diego Committee organized the 1st Solutions For Hope Summer Camp Activity on June 5th, 2022.
AYLUS San Diego branch kicked off the new round, 2022-2023, Solutions for Hope programs to raise fund for underprevillieged families. Establishing the series of weekly events, AYLUS volunteers opened up classes to their fellow students, in a wide array of topics. From these classes, San Diego Branch coops with Foodbank and organizes a fundraiser for low income families in the community, encouraging students to donate.
5 students attended the 1st Solutions For Hope WW3000 Activity and Beast Academy on June 5th, 2022. Overall, there were 8 participants in the program.
Ryan Hua tutored Max Zhang on Asian History on Sunday 6/5, for an hour and a half.
Luke Qiao tutored Junpeng Zhao and Ryan on Java on Sunday 6/5, for an hour and a half.
Katherine Backues tutored the painting demo class on Sunday 6/5, for two hours and a half.
