Kits to Heart is a nonprofit organization that provides aid through care packages – cancer care kits, to patients who are currently undergoing cancer treatment. Battling cancer takes some of the bravest and strongest human beings and we want to support them every step of the way, both physically and psychologically. During Easter long weekend, AYLUS members gathered to handmake heart pillows, no-sew blankets, and journals with inspirational messages and heartwarming drawings to contribute to the cancer care kits, hoping to bring joy to patients who are going through their most difficult times in treatment.
The volunteers that participated in this event were:
Nicholas Wang (9 hours on 04/23/22), Michelle Lan (4 hours for journals on 04/15/22; 5 hours for journals on 04/16/22, and 5 hours for journals on 04/17/22), Alyssa Yuan (4 hours for journals on 04/15/22; 5 hours for heart pillows on 04/16/22, and 8 hours for heart pillows on 04/17/22) and Luna Chen.
