The AYLUS Bellaire branch volunteered at Houston Dragon Academy in Bellaire, Texas on Friday, April 15, 2022, for different shifts from 8:30am to 6:00pm.
At the school, the volunteers assisted with supervising the students, coaching the students to play tennis and other sports, helping teach subjects like math and Chinese, and taking part in administrative tasks like working at the front desk and managing the school’s expenses. Additionally, due to the upcoming Easter holiday the following Sunday, volunteers held an Easter egg hunt for the students. Volunteers filled eggs with candy and hid them around the playground for the children to find. Afterwards, they made cotton candy and distributed them to the students.
