On March 13th, 2022 RSA members met at the local park for a renewed clean-up event. The members cleaned up trash and litter that was found along the different pathways and near the lake before properly discarding it. Cigarette stubs for example contain a high amount of plastic and will pollute and degrade the environment. Thus it is important to keep these away from our parks to help keep the ecosystem intact. These park clean-ups have provided a safe way, especially during the pandemic to help with keeping the neighborhood clean. This is another series of events that RSA has supported on a regular basis and will continue to do so. It has been rewarding for the members to see the neighborhood cleared of trash and the positive encouragement of the community has only been the icing on the cake.
