On December 30th, AYLUS San Diego Branch volunteers hosted a tutoring Program. The program allows volunteers to provide guidance on a wide array of academic topics to interested students.
The tutoring event focused on ensuring that students understood the topics of discussion. In this event, an 8th Grade Math and English Reading/Writing workshop was set up for attendees.
Serena Liu tutored Kate Liang on 8th Grade Math on Thursday, 12/30, for an hour and a half.
Andrew Zhou tutored Jessica Jiang on English Speaking, Reading, and Writing on Thursday, 12/30, for an hour and a half.
Ryan Hua tutored Darren Cui, Tristan Shi, and Max Zhang on Asian History on Sunday, 1/2, for an hour and a half.
Kyle Hou tutored Jessica Jiang on Science on Sunday, 1/2, for an hour and a half.
In total, there were 6 participants in this event, with 4 volunteers.
