On December 11, 2021, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm, ten AYLUS volunteers assisted activities and preparations for the Tour De Lites bike ride at Independence Park, an annual family event hosted by the Forever Parks Foundation, including a bike giveaway and tour through neighboring communities. The Forever Parks Foundation aims to partner with Pearland to establish premier parks, facilities, and programs. Volunteers helped set up the bike giveaway, supervised some people touring the lights, and aided the management of some stations, including an arts-and-crafts station where kids made Christmas decorations for themselves. Afterwards, the volunteers rode with the touring of the Green Tee Terrace community’s lights, making sure nobody was in the way or too close to the riders. Volunteers were: Eddie Fu, Andy Jiang, Sasha Kuzmenko, Thomas Liang, Jonathan Niu, Matthew Niu, Alvin Zheng, Derek Zhu, Ethan Gao, Eric Gao, and Edwin Gao.
