On December 5th, 2021 several members of the Riverside County AYLUS branch met up to raise awareness of Alzheimer’s disease. The members herewith wanted to show their support for the “Walk to End Alzheimer’s”. Many million Americans are affected by this disease every year and the number keeps growing. The Alzheimer’s Association raises funds to combat this disease through research and care. RCA member Sophie Chung created the poster for every participant. RCA herewith joins other AYLUS branches nationwide with this walk. By raising awareness RCA hopes to bring more knowledge, discussion, donations, and personal dietary adjustments to the community as certain diets can help onset or aggravate the disease.
Sophie Chung (2.5 hrs walking and poster creation), Chandler Berry (1.5 hr), Kevin Bui (1.5 hr), Korbin Bui (1.5 hr), Evan Chang (1.5 hr), and Kyan Chang (1.5 hr).
