Chapel Hill Branch Participates in Booker Creek Trail Forest Restoration Project 3 on Nov 20, 2021

On November 20, the Chapel Hill branch gathered with other members of the community to rid the creek area of privet plants.  These invasive species dominate other native plants, depriving them of resources and harming the habitat.  From 10:00 to 12:30, members cut down privet in the Booker Creek area.  This effort will help the habitat and environment, ridding the area of an unwelcome species.

The volunteers that participated in this event were: Kathryne Hong (2.5 Hours), Jack Xu (2.5 Hours), Christopher Wu (2.5 Hours), Kevin Chen (2.5 Hours), Luna Chen (2.5 Hours), Michelle Lan (2.5 Hours), Matthew Lee (2.5 Hours), Jack Lu (2.5 Hours).
