To begin our amazing collaboration and relationship with Pearland Parks and Recreation, many AYLUS volunteers worked alongside the Parks and Rec team to set up, decorate, and clean up Independence Park for the upcoming inaugural 4th of July Celebration of Freedom Event. On July 1st, 2021, many AYLUS Pearland volunteers helped clean and polish up the park by splitting into organized groups to cohesively clean and organize the park landscape. Additionally, AYLUS volunteers aided in setting up beautiful patriotic decoration that symbolized the heart and soul of the event. They set up banners, United States flags, signs, and helped organize the fences around the venue to best accommodate the citizens for the upcoming event. AYLUS Volunteers worked 3.5 hours from 8:30 am – 12:00 pm to make sure that Independence park was ready for the amazing Freedom Celebration event on the 4th of July. Through the hot sun, our volunteers were engaged and gruesomely worked to produce an amazing set up for the upcoming event.
