For July 4th, as always, we have our annual tradition of having senior center performances on that day. However, due to the pandemic, we created a virtual video performance, like last year, for the seniors to celebrate the Fourth of July with them.
Five performers participated and sent video recordings of their performance to the organizer and the vice president Susanna Huang, and she spent two days compiling and editing the videos, making sure the audio quality was consistent throughout and creating the transitions between each performance. The resulting virtual video performance was dedicated to the nurses, doctors, police officers, and firefighters in celebration of July 4th. Susanna then sent the video performance to the following seven senior centers: Heritage of Sandy Plains, Elmcroft Senior Living, Sunrise Senior Living, Arbor Terrace of East Cobb, Sterling Senior Living, Parc at Piedmont, and The Solana.
The wonderful performance provided the seniors with great musical entertainment as the performance included a variety of performers from singers to pianists to guitarists to celloists.
