On September 27, 2020, members of the Columbus AYLUS branch joined the Columbus Walk to End Alzheimer’s. This year’s walk was held in smaller groups all across the city instead of the usual one collective walk. Branch members Angelika-Lili Susanto, Erica Shen, Rachel Zhu, Joseph Lin, Nicole Lin, Brenna Li, Andrea Yu, Katie Lu, Patrick Wang, Kerrie Cheng, Catherine Harman, June Ni, and Kyle Xuan walked at Glacier Ridge Metro Park to honor the fight against Alzheimer’s.
Alzheimer’s disease is the cause of most cases of dementia, and the sixth leading cause of death in the United States. There is currently no known cure. Walk to End Alzheimer’s aims to raise funding for further research and increase public awareness. Please donate to their website if you are able.
