On August 1st, 2020, the AYLUS Houston Branch hosted a virtual college application seminar featuring recently graduated college students (including graduated AYLUS members) to inform current high school students of the process of applying to universities. Topics of activities, essay writing, recommendation letters, interviews, and more were explained by the speakers. Additionally, there was a Q&A section at the end of the presentations that allowed students to clarify any uncertainties they had and get more advice on specific topics. The event had over 60 participants in varying grade levels and schools. Thanks to David Lin for hosting the event and Ethan Jiang for giving a short AYLUS promotion presentation during the seminar.
