Sugar Land Branch Launches Summer Stay Fit At Home Exercise Sessions (#1) on July 27, 2020

With social distancing precautions, people are limited to travel. Stuck at home, many children, teens, and adults are lacking an important necessity: exercise. To combat this obstacle, Sugar Land Aylus members Nicole Wu and Isabella Wu launched the first online Stay Fit At Home Exercise Session on Monday July 27, 2020 via Zoom. Members prepared a short warm up, and based on a survey of the participant’s favorite exercises, created a cardio set and an ab workout. Finally at the end of the session, participants were challenged to hold a plank as long as they could. The participant who held their plank the longest was able to choose part of tomorrow’s activity. The winner held a plank for three minutes and impressed everyone! The exercise session lasted for 30 minutes and had about 20 attendees with ages ranging from 6 to 50. The Sugar Land Branch was happy to welcome participants from different states in the United States to join the Stay Fit At Home Program. Through this activity, members hope to help children and adults stay healthy and active at home. The participating members were Nicole and Isabella Wu.
