On December 14, 8 members of Aylus came to perform for the seniors at the retirement home. Because Christmas was near, we played classic Christmas songs such as Joy to the World, Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer, Silent Night and More. The seniors greatly appreciated the caroling and the variety of instruments that were played such as piano (Luna, Grace, and Mark), clarinet (Kevin and Audrey), Saxophone (Nicholas), and guitar (Kitta). Rebecca also joined in to sing. On the request of one senior, a Hanukah song was also played by Grace. Overall, the seniors were very happy with the music and even requested to resing some of the songs. Our Chapel Hill Branch has had a successful year and hopes that everyone has a merry Christmas (or another holiday) and a happy New Year!
