Today, we participated in the “End Alzheimer’s Walk”, in support for the seniors at Brookdale Meadowment Senior Living Home who suffer from Alzheimer’s Disease. A disease known for being incurable and having disabling effects, Alzheimer’s affects millions of people globally. Hence, we decided to support this population by participating in this event, raising awareness and funds of the illness. The intense afternoon heat did not deter any of us from supporting this campaign. We happily completed the 2 miles with the rest of the members. Alzheimer’s Disease is relentless. So are we.
