On August 25 and September 1, AYLUS Houston member Ethan Jiang began his third year of the AYLUS STEAM Challenge Camp, an immersive yearlong program designed to help students think critically about real world events and independently solve problems. The first class covered camp expectations and included critical reading and math diagnostics to measure the current knowledge of incoming students. In the second, students read an excerpt from “A Study in Scarlet”, a short story by SIr Arthur Conan Doyle, and learned about systems of linear equations. Enjoy the pictures!
