On June 22nd, 2019, San Diego students of AYLUS had the 4th San Diego Brain injury Foundation Fundraising Garage Sale. The goal of activity is to sell used or new items to fund-raise money for the San Diego Brain injury Foundation and not only provide aid to those suffering from brain injuries but also provide affordable slightly used products (like defibrillator for heart patients and so on) for the community.
All objects sold from the garage sale were donated from AYLUS San Diego families. The items donated ranged from books and stationary to children’s toys and clothes.
On sales day, AYLUS San Diego volunteers arrived early and set up the necessary tables and canopy for the garage sale, as well as creating and posting advertisements. All these effort resulted in $420.46 being raised for the San Diego Brain injury Foundation. Plants and sprouts were sold the most, followed up by children’s toys.
