Today, we had another performance with the seniors at Brookdale retirement home. During the time we were there, we performed a variety of songs for them, ranging from classical music to pop music. To better engage them, we sang Que sera sera, Greensleeves, Amazing Grace and Memory from Cats, a Broadway Musical. Those songs brought back fond memories of their younger days, and it was evident from the smiles on their faces. Also during this visit, we played two Chinese songs, Seaweed and Shanghai Beach, to introduce them to Chinese culture. This made the session more interesting and we are excited to share more music in future visits.
