On September 22, four members from AYLUS came to the senior living home to play the first concert of the new school year. Three new members joined us today. They were Arpita, Jenna and Melissa. Grace started off with a cheerful song, The Beautiful Blue Danube. After that, Melissa and Jenna played “My Heart Will Go On” as the highlight of the performance. Their duet was awesome. The seniors enjoyed the song very much. Then, we had some sing along, and that really lifted up the spirits of the seniors. We sang “Edelweiss”, “Amazing Grace”, and “Greensleeves”. In the happy and relaxed atmosphere, the concert was over. The seniors were really happy to have us, and they looked forward to our next visit.
