On May 19, 6 members of AYLUS went to the food bank to volunteer. The 6 members that came were Nicholas, Peter, Johnny, Jiarong, Rebecca, and Mark. As usual, they were assigned to the potatoes. They, along with some of the other volunteers, managed to peel all the potatoes in their sack. Compared to all the other volunteers, they were by far the fastest.Even though by the bottom of the sack they hoped they would never see another potato, since many of the potatoes were so rotten that they hardly even resembled a potato, they were happy of all the help that they were providing for families around North Carolina. They took a group picture and left proud of the honest mornings work that they had done.
