The A.Y.L.U.S. Columbus Branch participated in donating toys to the Dublin Community Recreation Center on June 7, 2018. Volunteers Amy Xuan, Eileen Liang, Aidan Li, Michelle Zong, and Alice Nie cleaned and sanitized each toy, ensuring good condition and quality. In addition to toys, a variety of children’s books were also donated. Although loved and often used, the books were in very good condition after all the years with no missing pages or tears. Once all the items were cleaned and organized they were donated to the Recreation Center where they will meet new owners and will once again bring much joy into the lives of the young children. The members of the A.Y.L.U.S. Columbus Branch dedicate their time to volunteering in hopes of benefiting the community and changing the lives of the residents, even if just a little bit, for the better.
