On April 20th 2018, the Houston Branch, with Roosevelt Alexander Elementary’s and Principal Dr. Charmaine Hobin’s full support, was able to host and conclude the 3rd Annual Book Drive at the RAE Carnival!
The Houston Branch accumulated more than 870 books which will be donated to the Memorial Hermann Hospital, Texas Children’s Hospital, as well as the Legacy Community Clinic. In addition to books, the Houston Branch fund-raised $266.89 which will be all donated or used to aid the Houston downtown homeless community and to support the lower socioeconomic students of the Greater Houston Area.
