To kick off the school year, three aspiring young high schoolers from the Cypress Branch of AYLUS decided to team up and hold a book drive in our local county on Aug 21’ 2017. The place we donated to was Friends of the Library, and they accepted everything from young adult fiction to sports magazines. Other genres include literature, manga, foreign language, and various types of audio books. When we arrived there, 2 nice elderly ladies assisted us with our donations; we just had too much to transport! But we didn’t stop there. Our team also help the staff arrange cartloads of books given by other generous donners. Helping them truly made us realize how much support was contributed from the community. We couldn’t have been more happy to be a part of it!
