On Saturday August 5th, 2017, the Houston Branch held its 2nd annual School Supplies Drive! Over 16 million children worldwide live in poverty without any access or affordability to school supplies, showing up empty handed on their 1st day of school. In response, the Houston Branch hosts school supplies to help aid those less fortunate than ourselves. The Houston Branch raised over $100 and accumulated school supplies in the drive. The money was used to buy more school supplies from Target. All of the supplies were then organized, counted, sorted and packed into boxes – ready for delivery!
