On March 4, 2017, the Silicon Valley Branch of AYLUS returned to Cupertino Healthcare & Wellness Center to perform for the citizens. Many volunteers attended, all of whom were very enthusiastic and excited to help. The members proved their strong musical and artistic skills through a variety of instruments including the piano, cello, violin, flute, and clarinet. We also performed Turkic Uygur dances that were highly appreciated and admired. A few young children told stories they had memorized, which the senior citizens delighted in and were notably grateful for; one resident even left the audience to near the stage where the student was storytelling. In summary, the residents were very happy and thankful for another tremendously successful event and performance.
