During a four-day President Day break, the San Diego Branch collected 405 pairs of eyeglasses on February 17 and 19, 2017. They shipped all the eye glasses to those in need in Brazil, Cambodia, and Nepal through the Honduras Mission on February 19, 2017. All the prescription eyeglasses were checked one by one by a lensometer and documented before shipping.

The San Diego Branch has collected and distributed a total of 2188 pairs of eyeglasses to those in need in Honduras and Mexico between August 2016 and February 2017.
