On February 5, 2017, the San Diego Branch students held two college planning seminar at Qualcomm in the morning and the La Jolla Country Day School in the afternoon. The invited speakers of the seminars were Dr. John Wang and Mrs. Linda Hu from New York.
The San Diego students were responsible for all the logistics, setting up of the Qualcomm Q Auditorium and the Community Hall of the La Jolla Country Day School, checking in, and cleaning up of the auditoriums afterwards. They also served as ushers to participants.
298 parents and students participated in the morning session at Qualcomm. 154 people participated in the afternoon session at the La Jolla Country Day School in the afternoon. Both sessions were very successful.
The students who participated in the events are Christopher Yang, Stephen Yang, Kelly Zhong, Emily Zhong, Annie Bian, Raymond Li, Eric Li, Andrew Peng, Alan Zhu, Jenina Zhu, Samantha Zhu, Jackson Shen, Ashly Zhang, Ethan Tran, and Timothy Tran.
