On August 28, even though it was hot in San Diego, 8 students from the AYLUS San Diego Branch spent hours painting bat boxes that they built for the City of Santee. They stained the bat boxes and post mounting frames twice and applied two layers of black paint. They will be ready to install the bat boxes at a ballpark between the City of Santee and Lakeside.
