On April 15th Friday afternoon, the Houston Branch, with the support and participation of Roosevelt Alexander Elementary, was able to hold a successful Book Drive! The Houston Branch accumulated a total of two hundred and twenty four books from the entire community!!!
The names of the participants are, Clio Sun, Flora Hu, Anisa Mok, Evelyn Tang, Sarah Garcia, Leanne Wu, Eric Li, Andrew Hallack, Seann D Souza, and Jonathan Liu. Together they were able to sort the two hundred and twenty four books of ages 1 to 18. These books will all be donated to the children at Memorial Hermann Hospital whom of which are not as fortunate as us.
A thanks to all the volunteers and parents who have taken time out of their day to help make this book drive a success! Also, a special thanks to Principal Dr. Charmaine Hobin, for allowing the Houston Branch to occupy the gym Roosevelt Alexander Elementary to hold the book drive.
