On December 6, the AYLUS Chicago Branch volunteered at the Garlands Barrington Retirement Community to help organize the Winter Wonderland Christmas event. At this event, our volunteers participated in many activities, including teaching kids how to make crafts, categorizing donated toys and food, as well as arranging the art show in the auditorium. Almost 100 hundred families took pictures with Santa Claus, and the kids also wrote letters to Santa. We were happy to coordinate some of these events. Overall, this experience has allowed us to contribute to our community and appreciate our own lives. The volunteers were Cissy Xiao, Bradley Yu, Vanessa Peng, Brian Yang, Andrew Yang, and George Tang. Happy Holidays!
